Day 2: Last day as a carnivore

So lately I've been thinking to myself, "Geez, I'm fat." The weight training class I signed up for just reinforced this and peppered in some "Man *huff* I'm really *huff* out of  *huff* shape.". So I've decided to go vegetarian and see how far I can go with it. As you probably already guessed by the title of this post, today is my last day of not only eating meat but, no more soda or fast food. I'm dropping everything cold turkey (no pun intended). I guess I could say that my friends have somewhat inspired me to do so heh Carlos and Rebecca. So as of tomorrow I start down a path lined with many different fruits, vegetables, and protein substitutes, and say goodbye to Chipotle. I look forward to keeping this up for as long as I can. I also plan to ,in the spirit of going healthy, workout more and go for leisurely runs :). If anyone who's gone vegetarian would like to give me some good pointers as to how it was when you first started and how to do it right that would be great. I just hope that this whole no meat, no soda thing doesn't make me a grouch. (more than I already am :P)

Day 1: New Beginnings

So it's been a while since I've posted on here...I got caught up doing other things and dealing with school. I figured it would be nice to revisit my blog and perhaps breathe new life into it, as I will soon be doing with my life, at the dawn of my College career and the period after. Otherwise known as "the rest of your life". To say the very least, a lot of time has elapsed between my previous post and this one. Towards the end of my posting days my posts, I noticed, began to diminish in quality and readability. So in my attempt to "spice" them up a bit I will return to posting about my days, although this blog will start looking like a rough draft for a memoir as opposed to a blog worth reading. Well so fire life has been treating me fairly well, I'm working on being more open minded and being less arrogant. Although, if you ask my friends they'd say I've made little to no progress. Today ws the very first day of the second semester. While seeing all my friends again was fantastic, having to deal with all six classes wasn't fantastic. However it is great to know that I have classes with more friends than I had before. Silver lining. It is safe to say that today was the beginning of the end. I look forward to keeping this blog updated as much as possible and try to keep my readers(if anyone actually reads these.) entertained.
